Front Of House Staff

Responsibilities:

Set up for shows that night: ensuring the theater, lobby, and bathrooms are prepared with supplies.
Taking tickets, and selling concession at the front of house before and during our improv/stand-up comedy shows. There is a test to take to sell alcohol, which will count towards pay.
Light cleaning after patrons leave
Maintaining order and awareness as patrons enter and exit the theater
Reporting to House Manager

Pay: $20/hour + Tips

Hours:

Wednesdays: 6:00pm-10:00pm

Fridays: 7:00pm-10:00pm

Saturdays: 6:00pm-11:00pm

Sundays: 6:00pm-9:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

Notes: If for some reason we have an extra date in a month or show has to be cancelled do to the talent, we ensure you light work around the theater to fulfill your hours. More possible hours as we grow.

Tech Booth Staff

Responsibilities:

Checking in with front of house and cast for show starts
Starting and Ending Shows with light and sound cues.
Editing scenes for shows with sound, light, and media cues.
Shutting down all equipment at the end of the night

Requirements:

General computer literacy including Powerpoint, music apps, and internet
Multitasking abilities, including the keeping time, light and sound cues, and general order of show running (i.e., keeping track of scene order and maintaining reasonable light and sound levels to ensure good audience experiences)
Year experience of performing, coaching, directing, or doing tech in improv
Tech booth experience a huge plus, but can be trained. The most important part is getting a feeling of comedic timing.

Pay: $20/hour

Hours:

Fridays: 7:30pm-10:00pm

Saturdays: 6:30pm-10:30pm

Sundays: 6:30pm-8:30pm
