Colleen Breen

Director • Performer • Teacher

Colleen founded All Out Comedy Theater in 2016, and has over two decades of experience. She hails from Chicago—the mecca of improv in the world—where she trained, performed, directed, wrote, produced, and taught for 15 years. She has been a member of ensembles at The Second City, I.O. Theater, Annoyance Theater, Comedy Sportz, pH Comedy, Laugh Out Loud Theater, GayCo, Improvised Jane Austen, and The Playground. Her experience includes long and short form improv, musical improv, theatricals, ensemble and solo sketch, and full written revues.

She is grateful and lucky to have trained, performed, and collaborated with the greatest improv teachers, coaches, directors, writers, actors, and weirdos in the world that have created award-winning comedy across sitcoms, series, movies, specials, and books.

Colleen is excited to bring her passion of improv to the Bay Area. Taking from the Chicago improv theories, she has created a curriculum that is accessible to students to become the best performer, communicator, person, or unique introvert/extrovert that is you. You are perfect in every way. Let’s Play!
