Improvising in the Style of Shakespeare with Diana Brown
Join Diana for a 5-week series exploring improvisation in the style of Shakespeare.
Together, we’ll explore the six levels of Elizabethan society, Shakespeare’s scene types, the rhythm of his language, Shakespeare’s perspectives on love, and the delights of bringing his world to life through improvisation.
Students will leave this class with a foundation in Shakespearean improvisation, a deeper knowledge of the time period, and a stronger connection to their inner Elizabethan.
In our work together, anyone can play any character they are called to play.
